Himachal Pradesh, one of the Hill States in India, is well nestled in the laps of Himalayas. The state of Himachal Pradesh on account of its natural beauty and scenic landscapes is also known as the 'magical showcase of nature'. Wide and green valleys and long meadows with the snow-clad mountains in the backdrop make the state, the most favorable tourism destination in India. The freshwater lakes, the natural springs, the clean rivers and the burbling streams bejewel this hilly terrain of India. The hill resorts, fruit laden orchards, the tea gardens and the ancient temples dot the territory of Himachal Pradesh.
How to Reach There :
Bhuntar, Gaggal, and Jubbarhatti - the three airports of Himachal Pradesh connect the state well with Delhi and Chandigarh by regular flights from Indian Airlines. The railway network also connects the state with the major tourist cities in India. The longest railway line in the state is from Jogindernagar in Himachal Pradesh to Pathankot in Punjab. As the state is located in hilly region only few surface routes are recommended.
